📖 How to Use
- Open the tool to automatically view details and the map location of your current public IP address.
- To look up a different IP, type an IPv4 or IPv6 address into the search bar and click 'Lookup'.
- Click the 'Clear' button to reset the view back to your own public IP.
- Click the 'Copy' icons next to any specific field (like ASN or Coordinates) to copy it to your clipboard.
Queries are sent directly to a public IP geolocation API via HTTPS. We do not store or track the IP addresses you search for.

Why does the map show a different city than my actual location?
IP geolocation databases map IP addresses to the physical locations where your ISP registers them, which is often a regional data center or routing hub, rather than your exact GPS location.
Can I look up private or local IP addresses?
No, private network IP addresses (like 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x) are strictly used within local networks and do not have public geographic or ASN data associated with them.
Why do I have an IPv6 address instead of an IPv4 address?
Due to the global exhaustion of IPv4 addresses, many ISPs (especially mobile carriers) natively assign the longer, newer IPv6 addresses to client devices.
